About the Event

WHY? The violent acts of hatred are the result of long standing and systematic racism. There is no quick solution to the complex problems we face, however, we can collectively join in a peaceful yoga session to tune in to the present moment and listen to our inner voice, the one guiding us to, "be the change we wish to seek in the world", to activate against these challenges and affect change. This duty belongs to ALL OF US and we owe it to our country. By taking an hour of your day to dedicate to your self-care via yoga you are preserving your self, an act of political warfare.

Class Description: 60 minute Power Vinyasa-style class focused on traditional yoga postures with a longer hold in foundational/grounding poses to support safety and alignment. You will connect your breath to your physical movement throughout this class. You will build internal heat with your breath while enjoying the challenge and intensity of flowing through class at slower yet intentional pace. All levels welcome.

Classes will be held on the following week(s) and proceeds will be donated to the following organizations listed below that are on the front lines in this fight for justice. To support their efforts to secure the safety and freedom of Black Lives your attendance and donation is needed.

I hope to see you there! If you cannot make it, your donation is still appreciated.
